Happy and Mane Foundation Unite the Community in Support of People with Down Syndrome

A simple gesture can go a long way when a community comes together. Through a joint initiative by Happy Pay and Mane Foundation, hundreds of users transformed their everyday shopping rewards into meaningful support for children and young people with Down syndrome.

Over the past few months, users of the Happy app were given the opportunity to donate the points earned from their purchases to support the mission of Down Syndrome Albania. Thanks to their generosity, these points have now been converted into resources that will help strengthen the services and programs offered at the organization’s center.

The campaign demonstrates how digital platforms can create real-world impact. By making it easy for people to contribute, Happy enabled its users to become part of a collective effort that supports inclusion and empowers families within the Down syndrome community.

“Even the smallest contributions can create lasting change when people unite behind a common cause,” said Daniela Malaj from Happy. “This initiative shows the power of community and how technology can help connect people with causes that matter.”

For Down Syndrome Albania, partnerships like this are essential in ensuring the continuity and growth of programs that support children and their families. According to Executive Director Emanuela Zaimi, the support received from both individuals and businesses plays a key role in enhancing the quality and reach of the organization’s services.

The initiative is another example of Mane Foundation’s ongoing commitment to creating positive social impact and supporting organizations that work to build a more inclusive future for children and young people across Albania.
